This was by far the best way to take in the sights of Oslo when the cruise ship was only in port for the day. We managed to find our way round the city with very little waiting time between venues and the card was more than paid for by the end of the day. I would recommend this to anybody who has limited time visiting the city. A bonus was the fact that the tourist information had an office in the cruise passenger berth so alleviating the need to go to the tourist information in town to redeem our voucher. Excellent all round.
Everything that I said about the Oslo card is also true of this city card with the exception of to need to trail into Copenhagen city centre to find the tourist office and redeem the voucher. This office was very busy and operated a ticketed "slot" system to see a member of staff and this wasted about half an hour of our precious time in Denmark added to the time that it took to get from the ship to the city centre. If there is a tourist office at the airport perhaps the authorities might be persuaded to have a temporary office open at the cruise ship berths when a ship is in port (just like Oslo). Otherwise no complaints and once again we got good value from the card.
