The London Eye was great and the Skip the Line tickets were well worth it. They were cheaper than getting them on site--the only confusing part was that we were directed to an incorrect place, but that was because it was busy and noisy, and was a very temporary problem. It was a very slight bump in an otherwise excellent experience.

This was excellent. After reading so many negative reviews I was worried. But we had carefully planned and everything worked out well. The only thing we should have done was buy our tickets for what we wanted to get off to do from the bus driver instead of a kiosk we happened upon. The drivers were excellent and fun, but you need to plan and know the right bus to take, and the right place to be. But everyone is very, very helpful. When we got off at the London Eye, they were able to help us decide which bus stop was closest and where it would take us next. I would do this again and will. Each bus tour can be individualized and changed to what you need by taking the different routes--just plan ahead!

I enjoyed the tour, and appreciated the scenario, but here are the problems: 1. The only thing that makes this trip "Custom" is that you can decide not to purchase the tickets to actually get in and see these places. 2. The bus is huge and not personal at all. We were constantly waiting for others, listening to complaining people, etc. I would much prefer a smaller group. 3. The tour guide who charged by credit card for the tickets to Warwick, Christchurch and Shakespeare's birthplace, messed up and charged me twice so I am now in the process of working that out. 4. You start out at Victoria Station, which is an absolute nightmare. I would never want to start a bus tour there again. it is packed with hundreds of people trying to figure out which bus to get on, with there is very little guidance on where to go.

This was a great tour and a good deal since it included the rail ticket. I am only giving it 4 stars though because there was too much packed into one day. I would have preferred to stay longer at some of the places instead of going on the boat ride. There was no time to see the Beatrix Potter Gallery at Hawkshead and eat. And speaking of eating, there needs to be a lot more information about eating. I learned that a "Cream Tea" is a scone and tea only--nothing else. That really needed to be clarified and more information provided about places to eat, but more time provided to actually eat! But it was a small group in a small van, which is necessary since the road we were on were very, very narrow. Beautiful sites, but a lot of driving to get to them and to pick up people along the way.
