Washington DC Segway Night Tour

My Review: What a blast! I highly recommend this tour. The Segway is easy to ride (takes 15 minutes or so to get used to it) and is a great way to experience the Mall and all the monuments. The tour guides are informative and fun, and generally concerned about their guests. The night tour was especially cool, as we ended with the Lincoln Memorial and the WWII memorial, two of the most beautiful monuments when lit at night. One piece of advice: wear comfortable shoes. Although you're not walking, you are still on your feet the whole time, and using your legs to balance. A little extra cushion will go a long way towards making your evening more enjoyable (you'll be wearing a goofy helmet anyway, so no need to be concerned with fashionable footwear...). This is a great way to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short amount of time, all while being the envy of fellow tourists making the long treks on foot. Take the tour!
