Just fun and very informative. We went early in the day so the line wasn't long to begin with, but it was still nice to skip ahead. And pre-paying is the way to go. A beautiful building in an interesting part of town. And to have a fresh pint while over-looking Dublin was just fantastic...though the sky bar was a bit crowded. Totally worth it. The restaurant below the sky bar had the best Irish stew I've ever tasted. This is a must if you are visiting Dublin. And the price is more than fair for the time you have. It's a self-guided tour and there is lots to see. I'm getting sad thinking about it because I'm back in the states and can't just pick up and head over there any time I want. GO! and then write a review here so I can live vicariously through it. :)
