3-Day Italy Trip: Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri

My Review: 1. Stop Over in Naples - useless and waste of time. Important things: Also on the way back the same arrangement was done. we were made to visit a casino to shop and it was a total waste of time. In Capri (day two) - we were picked up at 9 am ...but the tour started as 11!!! It was beautiful in capri but the tour guide wasted all our time.... he made us catch the 5 pm boat when we could have taken the last boat at 6 .... again Carrani only looks at their convenience. Next time - i plan to go straight to Sorrento from Rome and do my own day trip to Capri. Free and easy is much better because Capri is beautiful and tours gives us no time to enjoy.
2. Pompeii - Nice, Wish we skipped naples and went to pompeii
3. Sorrento - breathtaking , lovely hotel, fantastic food
4. Capri - Awesome
The local agent is very dis organized and focus on their convenience. They shoved a bus full of people at 730 am and did not stop along the way for 4.5 hrs !!! no toilet break. Then we reach naples where passenger were divided in 3 groups - ones who were going for capri day trip, ones who were going for pompeii day trip and the remaining going to sorrento for 3 days ! We wasted a lot of time along the way due to this arrangement and reached sorrento at 6 !! when we could have reach at 3

My Review: Awesome. Walkabout tours - local agent was the best ever. Young guides who actually love their job and make this fun. Also - this is not advisable for the faint hearted as there is a lot of walking etc. But lovely :)

Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour

My Review: Absolutely useless!! Burano is lovely. Murano was only a shopping trip for glass and the tour guide was awefull ... she kept talking because she conducted the tour in 6 languages !!!! Imagine... rattling everything in 6 languages again and again and again !! Also there is nothing to see in torcello. Wish we had more time in Burano...

My Review: Not the best island i have seen! The water is not great for snorkeling. We are stuck for the whole day on the Jetty....extremely frustrating. Best for families with kids..For single travelers or couples this is boring.

Mexico Tours from San Diego

My Review: Again....a great day trip. A Mexican singer joined us at the Mexico border and played guitar and song lovely songs. The driver was very friendly, very funny and kept us engaged. He gave us good tips throughout the trip. The set lunch was very average and I wish we were served the traditional Mexican lunch. We spent time in Ensenada, Rosarita Beach, Tijuana. I feel that we could have spent more time in Tijuana ...the stop at Rosarita beach was useless!

My Review: Excellent pass...great value for money. I went on the top of the rock (usual price 21), top of empire state building (usual price 21) and day trip to woodburry commons (usual price 41).
