We were very excited to take this tour bc of the good reviews. However, we were disappointed. Our tour guide started great, but after lunch he became very disinterested with the 4 of us that were left. I dont know what happened, but he became a pain. Didn't do everything stated in the description.

Overall for what you get, its not a bad deal. 1) Walking tour is worth doing it 2) There were no free water bottles in December 3) The option of just providing your Name and ID does not work. You need to have a min. of a confirmation number. 4) Use your free ticket for the musuem, worth 30 mins.

1. Unlimited empanadas, wine and juice as a welcome and available until lunch time.
2. If you have never ridden horses, this is worth it then. If you expect to gallop around a field, not going to happen.
3. Music show ok, Guacho dancing much better.

Coordination for the trip was bad. I was told to go to San Telmo office instead of the San Martin meeting place. However, we ended up going to that area anyways to pick others up. All and all, we didnt get to the train station until about 11 am, but we met the tour guide at 9 am in San Telmo. Felt rushed through San Isidro. Even though the cruise ship was nice, the windows didnt open and we couldnt feel the sun or nice breeze of the day. Overall, thought the experience was ok but expected much more.

Overall a great trip. Door to door service. If you have more time, I would do the 2 day trip that goes to the sacred valley. I would also do the sacred valley before you do Machu Picchu. Also, try to find a trip that goes in by the original way instead of the new way. Still amazing views, but the original entrance is even better.
