Whale Safari and Puffin Island Tour from Reykjavik

My Review: Word of caution that by September the puffins have migrated so there was no Puffin Island Tour. Also most Whales have swam to warmer waters. Did see two pods of dolphins so was enjoyable. Top tip - best to do this trip during summer months.

Northern Lights Night Tour from Reykjavik

My Review: As this tour is dependent on weather we didn't know if it was going ahead until after 6.00pm, luckily it did, however, even though there were clear skys from about 10.00 - 11.00 we didn't get to see the lights. This tour does offer a "try again" offer but unfortunately the sky was very cloudy the next night so we didn't bother. It was a shame as it was our main reason for visiting Iceland but never mind, it gives us the excuse to come again! P.S. The guide was very amusing!

Blue Lagoon Spa Transfer from Keflavik Airport

My Review: Great way to arrive in Iceland. Bus driver was in arrivals, left airport half an hour early which gave us half an hour extra at Blue Lagoon. Left luggage on bus. Blue Lagoon is an experience not to be missed and makes you feel you really have arrived in Iceland. Transfer from Lagoon to Hotel takes less than an hour. Would recommend doing this trip on arrival or departure as makes the most of your time (Blue Lagoon is only 20mins from airport).
