Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade with Dinner
Tour / Activity
Location: Venice, Italy
My Review: We were not expecting much as this was a group ride and who knows how bad the singer can be....and much depended on the weather .......but we were very pleasantly surprised. It was truly a magical and romantic, warm evening sunset experience that will forever etched in our memories. Dinner outdoors in the nearby restaurant infront of the La Fenice was good. We had an extra voucher for the trattoria and checked its location before so we knew how to get there easily.

Murano, Burano and Torcello Half-Day Sightseeing Tour
Tour / Activity
Location: Venice, Italy
My Review: The trip was enjoyable. We purchased a Ferrari glass blown horse that was demonstrated in Murano and a nice laced table cloth from Burano. Burano is picturesque. Tourcello has a medieval church and pleasant surroundings, and their 2 green dingo kennels, great for photography. Guide could rattled 5 different spoken languages through the loud speakers and so you get the "limited version" of what is happening. We made the best use of it and enjoyed ourselves.

Cinque Terre Hiking Day Trip from Florence
Tour / Activity
Location: Florence, Italy
My Review: Our guide was friendly and gave interesting snippets of the places that we passed on our long journey from Firenze to La Spezia. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed our hike from Manarola to Varenna. Lunch at Corniglia was great as was the views. I enjoyed swimming in Varenna and also at Monterrosso while we wait for the 1700 hrs ferry. The waters was warm and the views was even fabulous. Then we got a ferry ride back to various villages onroute to Riomaggiore. Tannis provided us some interesting stories on the Vale della Amore walk to Manorola. Never mind the beautiful museums and churches, this is one event you should not missed. Hiking, eating, swimming, ferry ride and fantastic photo opportunities for the memories in a world heritage listed area...all in a day. What more can I say.
