IT WAS COLD IN THE MEDIEVAL VILLAGE OF OBIDOS BUT ENJOYED THE LOCAL CHERRY LIQUEUR GINJA W/ CHOCALATE CUPS.THE WALLS REMINDED US OF AVILLA IN SPAIN.ALCOBACA WITH ITS MONASTARY AND BIGGEST GOTHIC STYLE CHURCH WERE VERY INTERESTING IN LIGHT OF THE TWO TOMBS.WE LIKED OUR LUNCH IN NAZARE AND THE COMPANY.THE BATALHA MONASTERY WAS ANOTHER GOTHIC MASTERPIECE.FATIMA IMPRESSED US THE MOST AND I CAN SEE WHY IT ATTRACTS MILLIONS OF CATHOLIC PILGRIMS AND TOURISTS EVERY YEAR.

I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THIS TOUR IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR. A VERY NICE LITTLE PLACE IN THE CENTER OF THE OLD TOWN.THE NATIONAL PALACE IN SINTRA WAS WELL WORTH VISITING.IT'S TOO BAD WE WERE NOT ABLE TO VISIT THE PALACIO DE PENA WITH ITS VARIED STYLES. CABO DA ROCA WAS INTERESTING TO SEE AS THE MOST WESTERN POINT. IT CAN GET QUITE STORMY AS THE BLOWN OVER LIGHTTOWER INDICATES.

a very nice outing with a fun group of people.the castle and aquaduct were truly remarkable as was the high city walls in avila.i suppose one of the few places were it is effective and nice to look at.

The boat trip was great with a stunning coast line,magnificent inlets with clear blue water.cassis was very picturesque and the view above cap canaille was breathtaking. I would have liked to have known how many inlets we were to see. We saw 3 out of 9..

eze was just gorgeous as was the view overlooking cap ferrat and villafranche.monte carlo was impressive as usual with the changing of the guard ,the cathedral with the burial place of princess grace.the casino was unfortunately closed that day due to a filming scene with nicole kidman.(stone angel,grace of monaco)

a nice way to see the city.the rain and the tour frequencies were inconvenient.

very convenient way to see the city.the downside was that there were only 4 bus rides that sunday which made hopping off inconvenient.

a nice overview were it not that i would have liked to have stopped a few times to take pictures. city hall + citadelle would have been nice.

losing one hour to go to kudam i did not appreciate besides not having a clear idea where the tour was actually going to start. i would have to have seen more of potsdam.the time at sancousi was limited to say the least.

Very nice trip. Excellent Scottish guide except for the fact that he was hard to understand in the back of the noisy bus. (no mike) We were not all able to enter Dali's house since we arrived a few minutes late. Because of the size of the bus we also were not able to watch the sundown down the road. It made it too long a day for what we paid for.

A very enjoyable day Fontainbleau nice as expected. the surprise was vaux le vicomte being private property and the way it was initially expropriated by the king. the garden is a gem.good enough for some folks to get married there recently and divorced!

had not been there since 1972! the entrance was very unusual when compared to the architecture.the excavations were also quite unexpected.the presentation of the mona lisa was given the attention it deserves as well as the more ancient sculptures.it,s a place one can not do justice in even one day let alone the 4 hours we spent on the tour with a delightfully enthousistic guide.the louvre is truly the number one museum worldwide and worth visiting more frequently then we did.assez souvent would be my motto.
