The tour was interesting with a lot to see on a whirlwind drive around Hollywood and other parts of the LA area. Our tour guide was knowledgeable but the tour could have been improved with a checklist of places that we could coordinate with our photos later.

Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Small Group Day Trip from Rome

Had the weather cooperated, it would have been a great trip. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and cool, with some rain. We had several delays on the route, one was a bridge washout up in the mountains, and the van had to turn around and find an alternative route. Instead of making up lost time, the rest stops were too long. Our lunch stop was not over until 3:30. I'm sure the Amalfi coast is beautiful but on a cloudy day, it wasn't so impressive. We didn't get to Pompeii until after 5:00 p.m. and the light wasn't good for the best viewing of Pompeii. We didn't get back to Rome until around 10 p.m. The Pompeii tour guide was great.

Our tour guide was very informative and funny. My husband and I both enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to others.
