My Rating

Although it was pouring rain, my partner and I had a great time. We were a little disappointed in the actually palace as it seemed as though they had sectioned it off. Our tour guide was nice but didn't seem as knowledgeable as some of the other tours we've been on. The gardens were the highlight even though it was rainy and muddy - it would be nice to see the fountains on but as the tour guide said they hardly ever are...

The tour was fine, nothing really that special - i would advise doing your own research/maps of the Louvre and finding the artworks you want to see on your own rather than the tour - they have an audio guide available which is enough but if you dont want to be 'alone in a crowd' I would recommend this tour

Skip the Line: Vatican in One Day
Rome, Italy
My Rating

This was one of our favourite tours in our 6wk holiday. The Vatican musuem is very hectic so its worth getting the skip the line ticket unless you are there early as the rest of the tourists are. The cathedrals, monuments and history are amazing - our tourguide was wonderful and although it was raining she was prepared with photos and stories etc which made us appreciate her effort - so tour guides didn`t bother when it rained, we previously spend our whole tour in a lunch room in Versailles due to the rain. Excellent tour and I would definitely recommend to those interested in the Vatican

The lines really arn't that long and I think the tour was a waste of time really. Use the audio guides they say the same thing as what our guide said

Naples and Pompeii Day Trip from Rome
Rome, Italy
My Rating

Trip was wonderful even though our guide had a monotone and our local guide had a very strong accent. we only stayed about half an hour in naples for one short photo stop near the adriatic and did a bus tour through the city part - the pompeii portion was far better then the naples part of the tour. Our tour guide was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Not the lunch on offer wasnt anything near what you can buy in some local restaurants but if you want something easy and to just relax as everythings being done for you then this is the tour for you. Note: if i was to go to pompeii again i would choose the pompeii only tour
