We loved the night safari. The guide was great in telling us what to do to maximize our visit. We spent the entire time watching animals. Nearly one hundred different species were visible in their habitats.

It was good for what it was, but we could have done better on our own. The night market stop of fifteen minutes wasn't worth the time. Dinner at the hot stone restaurant was interesting. You had to work to get yours cooked. The steaks cooked too fast and the salmon splattered everywhere.

We could have done these activities by ourself on our own schedule and it would have been better. We didn't really get anything additional from the tour that we would have missed if we did these activities ourselves. The chocolate dessert cake at the Raffles Hotel was amazing.

We ate the food and had to seek medical treatment later. Otherwise, this was one of the most beautiful and relaxing tours we have ever taken. The tour guide was very attentive in making sure we were happy and comfortable. The fishing village tour was awesome. It was amazing seeing how they live. The numerous islands we passed were spectacular. We also loved the beach they took us to for a swim before returning. It is well worth doing, just bring your own food!

We loved the elephant ride! Hotel pickup was timely, the guides spoke excellent English. The several demonstrations of Thai culture were great: monkey training, elephant training, rubber tree tapping, and curry making were all demonstrated, and were fascinating. The furnished lunch was very tasty.

It was a little confusing finding the guide since we came out of the international arrivals and he was at the domestic arrivals. Once I told one of the other companies who I was looking for, they took me straight to our guide. Just ask, stop looking.

The tour was great. The guide and driver were totally familiar with the Sound of Music, its history, and trivia. They took us to all of the sites promised on the website and provided many excellent photo opportunities. The only "surprise" was an optional stop for an alpine sled ride. I wasn't expecting it, so I didn't participate, but I really wish that I had done so. If I knew we were stopping, I would have loved to have done the ride. Stops were time perfectly for us to hop off, enjoy the scene for a few minutes, then hop back on for the next stop.
