Victoria has more to offer than whale (orcas are actually porpoises not whales) watching. There is the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, The Royal BC Museum (one of the best in the world). A few blocks from the Inner Harbour, lies Beacon Hill Park. Dallas road offers one of the most scenic walks in the world, along the Dallas cliffs facing the Olympic Mountains. There are two small mountains in the city , Mt. Tolmie and Mount Douglas, well worth a visit for the 360 degree view.
