Great tour overall, but wish we had more time to walk around in Girona. Guided tour in Girona could have been cut shorter since it was really only about the cathedral. With the 2 hours free time we could go inside and tour the cathedral which was spectacular, but then were very rushed for lunch and had to race back to the bus.
Dali was great since we are left to ourselves and had enough time for the museum and a quick stroll around Figueres.
However, I would still love to return to Girona by train and just spend the day exploring the streets on my own since there is so much to see like the Roman baths, art museum, and Jewish quarter.
Fabulous trip, a highlight of our vacation! Our tour guides Christiano and Alex were so fun and well-informed. More than willing to provide us with restaurant, bar, and general Barcelona recommendations.
Montserrat was great, we had enough time to climb to the top of one peak which was just breathtaking! A really amazing experience.
The cava tour was very cool, since the winery is so old and impressive. Tasting at the end was a great way to end the long day, and you get 2 generous glasses to try! I obviously had to buy two bottles of cava to take home, both at reasonable prices.
Such a fun day! Perfect length and just generally a fun way to zip around and get an overview of the highlights of Barcelona. Our tourguide Clayton was very friendly, and well-informed. You could tell he really loves the city and is a history buff. Learned a lot in a short bit of time and was able to then know which locations we planned to return to on another day (this is why we booked this trip early in our vacation).
Stop at the beach bar at the end was a nice opportunity to chat with other travelers and enjoy some casual dining with a view!
