The best experience of my trip to Venice. Fun and useful ('useful' isn't something that you'd expect out of a holiday, is it?). Walking around Castello with Mario gives you first practical information about your camera (do you really know your camera?), tips about composition and photography in general plus interesting knowledge about the city and its inhabitants.
Definitely worth it!

Our guide was Arianna. She is a Venetian so she knows what she is talking about. Even if you already know about Venice and its history, she manages to surprise and add to your knowledge. Also the parts that are familiar are presented in an enjoyable way.

If you don't feel comfortable walking in the quiet backstreets on your own or don't want to venture away from the crowds when it's dark then this tour will be amusing. Otherwise, since the meeting point is on the Rialto bridge so the stories are limited with the immediate neighborhood that occasionally felt a bit artificial.
