Despite the miserable weather the bus to Fiesole was worth it. However I wouldn't recommend the bus for getting around Florence itself. Far better to get a good map and guide book,. You will see much more and also happen upon things you didn't plan to see. The bus can't access ti main attractions BUT was great for the viewpoint at Piazza Michaelangelo as it would be a bit of a hike on foot and is not to be missed
