The meeting spot was interesting as via Lamberti is not named on some maps! But once there being part of a small 10 per group was very satisfying! Angela was great, very careful, emotional delivery of Florence info in an Italian accent - perfect. She took us to Sanmichele church which had a tower only open on Monday when all the museums, galleries were closed. But, not many tourists know this as it was very quiet up there on a clear day! We were shown parts of Florence not in the guides and explained why Uffizi, why Ponte Vecchia, why Duomo door etc.
This tour was great, she even finished in the covered area in front of the post office as rain started to come down! Recommend highly
Walkabout tours guys Alex and Freddy split the group in two and were very clear, personable and informative throughout the day. You could go your own pace but not feel restricted at all, they explained what would be happening at each stage - unable to describe the views!!
Going by coach, rail, walk, local seafood and pasta for lunch, walk, rail and boat back past all 5 towns to meet the coach was an awesome way to see CT when you can only spare one day!
There was time for souvenir shopping, a cold drink, toilet stop often and we will be back again!
Very busy area to meet the bus, basic commentary was good and not too much until close to the K gardens. Explanations clear about what to expect and where/when to meet. Humorous at times.
Hard to fault as coach was new and comfortable
