The tour was started on time...
We left the meeting point a 2.30 exactly... in the beginning i felt slightly bad as we were waiting for another couple and as they had not arrived at exactly 2.30 the tour started without them... NOTE.. never be late!!!

Once the tour was under-way we all hopped on one of the vapareto style boats heading towards Murano... whilst on our way the guide provided us with interesting facts about the sights around us.

Once we got to Murano we were taken into the factory, was explained the methods and so on by Oscar... then onto the shop... i felt a little out of place as to be honest as i had already brought what i wanted in Venice and was not particularly interested in buying anything else... i thought we were going to have a tour of Murano not a factory floor and glass shop.

Heading out of the shop (without the guide) we literally had 45mins to explore the town before having to be back at the factory floor and onto the boat... not nearly enough time for a coffee let alone a little expedition.... so was unimpressed for the 1st half.

Burano... Amazing!
once we got to Burano we were taken to the lace shop/museum... started off interesting but again i felt pressured into buying from that particular lace shop...

As we were leaving the shop our guide gave us 1.30hr and a meeting point.... this time i we managed to have a coffee, shop and explore a little. Thank heavens it was such a beautiful place as it was in Burano that i began to relax a little!

Once at our meeting point we headed back to the boat where the tour guide offered helpful tips

This was probably the best tour of the week!

Firstly, i would like to mention that viator offered the best tours around! We watched various other groups walking about, looking a bit lost without a clue what was going on as they could not hear their guide!!!

Thankfully for us Viator guides provided us with ear pieces so we caught every word should we fall back from the group!

We had a wonderful tour guide, she was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the tour!
