I believe this tour is very overpriced for what you get. The tour guide wasn't overly friendly and pretty much repeated exactly what the 'specialty guides' tell you once you arrive e.g. in Siena. Also, as a young female traveller I found myself surrounded by couples. Perhaps I was just unlucky. But the guide didn't make an effort to get the group to bond so it was rather a long and a little bit lonely, day.

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! The guides were informative and fun and tried to get everyone involved which created a lovely group atmosphere. The trek up Versuvius was well worth it and I could have spent a whole day exploring Pompeii with our guide William. William was such a gem. He had a great sense of humour and was a real highlight of the trip. Overall I would strongly recommend this to anyone who has a day to spare in Rome. Make the effort - it was amazing!!!!
