The Alcatraz tour I would highly recommend, the audio walking tour around the jail is an amazing insight into life behind bars for the most hardened criminals of their day.
The San Francisco tour is a good way to orientate yourself with the city and get your bearings.

Coach Transfer from Downtown Vancouver to Whistler Village

My Review
I would absolutely recommend that you take the coach to whistler instead of driving. It removes the stress of tackling the icy/snowy roads and allows you the opportunity to look at the breath taking scenery. This is a two hour driving postcard from start to finish and it is a little under two hours.
