London, United Kingdom
The time was too short to get in all 3 attractions, given that the departure from the central bus station was mid-morning (later than announced). We also didn't like the bait-and-switch of the morning pick-up bus guide telling us we'd be taken to our individual hotels at the end of the day, but, in fact, being dumped at one of 5 locations, none of which were our hotel or near our hotel. In short, the end-of-day guide and/or driver short-changed us. Corrective action: if you promise something, deliver it. We loved Windsor Castle and Stonehenge, but opted not to do the walking tour of Oxford, which was over an hour of walking in the cold and rain; we happily attacked the weather for the other two attractions, and would do it again, but without the Oxford stop if possible.
We overestimated our energy after an all-night flight from the Western U.S. to Barcelona, and didn't have time to use the Museums ticket. Thanks for asking.
The tour was very useful and just what we needed, since we had just 1-1/2 days to see the city. One thing would have helped: knowing how often the buses usually come, and the usual arrival time for the first go-round of the day at a particular stop. We waited for a good 40 minutes, in cold drizzle, at stop 8 of the green east-west route, and would have been happier if we'd known it would take that long for the first bus of the day to come by.
