Most of this can be done on your own. What we saw as we were staying in the El Centro Historico was right outside our hotel. The Zocalo was with in walking distance for us. However, Jose our guide gave wonderful explanations and history which we would have missed out on.

The boat tour is more of a eat and drink tour while watching other Mexican families and tourist's do the same thing. Not much for the guide to talk about. The interesting thing is all of the vendors on the water selling all kinds of things. The mariachi bands as well are nice.

We started with this tour. We did a total of 3 tours in three days. If there were a next time I would probably only do 2 tours at most. 3 becomes a lot. With that said, this was the best of the 3, we did the Pyramids, Xochimilco and the Mexico City Tour. Jose our guide on all 3 was wonderful.
