Although the scenery is lovely once there, much of the time is spent on the bus. If you go to the aboriginal demonstration, there is not enough time to enjoy the area. I felt rushed and had to run to see the mountains and get back to the bus. I wished I had found public transportation here. Incline railroad was not worth it.
The positive: The tour guide was wonderful and informative as well as very helpful and engaging. The shrine was worth seeing. Lunch was excellent. The negative: The "villa" was disappointing and not worth the more than 2 hour journey. The Japanese gardens were scanty at best. The waterfall, was a pathetic sight as I have seen many many better and again, not worth the trip.
