Def worth the purchase for Amsterdam first timers. We didn't really use the discount card though for restaurants etc. We saw many cheap places around the city including a Roti cafe behind the market where the locals go. Cheap filling food and highly recommended! We used the passes for the Ice Bar and a Cheese Tasting event. We were also given a free bus tour or bike rental.. We chose the bus tour and upgraded for €5 so we could hop on and off. Wasn't that necessary but was a good way to see the entire city in one go to explore (less than paying full hop on hop off price of €18). It included a free tour of Diamond Museum as well. After we saw the hot spots from the bus we knew where we wanted to explore and we walked a lot. Easy to walk around the city but wear comfortable shoes!
