I had a good seat at a reasonable price. A most enjoyable performance of La Boheme which included a convincing snow scene - in Sydney during high summer!

Unfortunately the weather was not good during my trip - very misty and officially the national park was closed because of the recent fires. Those people who did the optional cable car run enjoyed it - just the sight of the cable car gliding through the mist at fairly high altitude was exciting enough for me. A good trip - pity about the weather.

Having booked this trip in advance of going to Sydney, and then seeing this lollipop on a stick i wondered if I had made a mistake. I couldn't believe there is a lift inside the 'stick.' There are actually three!!. The tower is 250 meters high but the pole on top is quite a length. The buffet is excellent, very enjoyable. I took the opportunity to eat some kangaroo. Tender, similar to good beef or venison. Soft drinks readily replenished free of charge. Revolving restaurant with excellent views of Sydney and surrounds.
