A friendly but rather non-communicative guide who did things without much explanation and very little commentary. Trip consisted mainly of trying to roll a Landcruiser in medium sized dunes just off the highway, then quick visit to a camel breeding farm, then to the permanent camp where we had a 50 meter camel ride (interesting to get on and off one of these ships of the desert at ground level) Nights entertainment consisted of a traditional dervish style dancer then a belly dancer imported from Europe who spent a lot of energy trying to get audience enthused rather than just getting on with the routine. Meal was a so so BBQ cooked while show was in progress and served up ala 'school camp' queue. All in all quite ho-hum.

Very good way to see a lot of the city in a relaxed and rather unhurried way. We covered most areas and spent time at the museum of Old Dubai --- very informative I thought -- as well as viewing from the outside only the largest mosque in Dubai. A pleasant relaxed tour with an informative guide who spoke both German and English.
