We had a good guide and a small group. Our guide was knowledgeable. The crowd wasn't too extensive so we were able to actually see Versailles which isn't the case when the crowds are bad.

Although a little unclear about what we were doing when we got into the mini-van, we were well cared for. The driver does not attend dinner, cruise or show with you which made the experience more personal for my husband and I. He merely drove and picked us up after each event.

The castles were fun to see. After the first castle, I was very nervous that we had been ripped off but the next two gave us a good idea of the range of conditions that the castles are in. It was interesting to see where Leonardo Da Vinci is buried.

Of course you can't do anything about the weather which wasn't very cooperative. The trip was worthwhile. Our guide was pleasant. My earphones didn't work and there wasn't a replacement which was a little frustrating.
