Unfortunately is was quite bright during the trip due to the half moon and less clouds. This made it easier to paddle through the mangroves but the illumination was not as good as it could be although the crew had a trap to see the illumination beter. I recommend going there by new moon.

It was my first time snorkeling and the crew explained in detail what's important and necessary to enjoy it. And indeed it was great fun and I enjoyed every minute. Also the ride to and from the snorkeling area was cool. I can highly recommend this trip.
