After first needing to sort out some initial confusion on dates our trasnfer arrived promptly on time and although a couple of other pick-ups din't go so well, we arrived in good time for our check-in.
Friendly driver who kept us informed of on-route events.
We had a thoroughly good guide, extremely knowledgeable about the Louvre and many of the works there.
As always, the Louvre was very busy so we would suggest smaller groups for ease of staying together - perhaps a maximum of 10 people during the busy season.
This was however just a small thing in an otherwise amazing visit made all the more enjoyable by a very talented guide.
We would recommend this tour without hesitation. Our Guide Jesse was great and should be paid more (she asked us all to say such things... :-)). The train ride, short walk to the French Market and tour through Versailles was an amazing experience and we do do it again. We especially enjoyed the lunch.
A shame jesse wasn't allowed to accompany us through the Palace where clearly other groups had a tour leader/commentator. It would have made the tour just that much more special.
As we have said though - would recommend this trip without hesitation.
Sagrada Familia is a MUST see while in Barcelona. Skipping the line meant there was no looooong wait and although you ended up sharing the facility with those that had already waited (the place was crowded) that was part of the enjoyment.
