This 90-minute cruise is narrated in English and español. The sailing route provides good views of both the SoBe and Miami skylines. Sit on the left side (or rear) of the boat as that is the side that will pass Star Island as you hear narration about the "homes of the rich and famous" and also the not so famous rich people who have purchased homes on the Island. The internet ticket you purchase here on Viator is good for a specific day, but does not assign you a time to sail. Your ticket is good for any hourly sailing (at the time of this writing from 1100-1900). Show up at the tour provider booth in Bayside/Biscayne Marketplace to exchange your Viator ticket for a boarding pass. Show up much earlier than the time of the cruise you want to take so your desired time is not filled up. If you want to sail on the very next sailing after your arrival at the booth you may be told to wait for the next hour or two as boats can fill up. Also, once you get your sailing boarding pass it will indicate boarding beings 15 minutes prior to departure. This is true, but queue up even earlier if you want a railing or rear seat on the boat as those go first. This is important as the crew is strict about not having people stand in the stairways or even at all. All in all I love seeing the city from the perspective of the water. The crew's narration was great and helped put the lay of the land into perspective. I highly recommend this activity for your first day in town.
