The lagoon itself was really neat, I've never seen anything like it. Cab driver was also friendly and courteous. When we got to the location, there was an outdoor bar and the bartender offers one complimentary beverage. Apparently our group was waiting on some more people who were supposed to come (and never showed), but nobody told us. So we just kinda sat there for 15 minutes or so in an uncomfortable silence while the bartender and several people at the bar talked amongst themselves (one was the guy driving the boat, although we didn't know at that point). The guy driving the boat was nice, he pretty much just talked on the phone while we were out there, but was friendly. The swim was really cool, about ten minutes long, but mind you this is a lagoon and you'll be standing in a couple feet of silt. As long as you aren't grossed out by that sort of thing then you'll be fine. On the way back he rattled off a few facts about the town and politely requested a tip. Overall I would say this is something I would recommend, but only if you're going to swim to get the full experience. If don't want to swim, then you'll probably get bored of it rather quickly.
