Connemara and Galway Bay Rail Tour from Dublin
Tour / Activity
Location: Dublin, Ireland
My Review: I loved it! Kylemore Abbey makes the entire tour! The tour operator is really organized. I never felt like I was lost or left on my own to figure things out. For a beautiful tour, definitely take this one!

Cork and Blarney Castle Rail Trip from Dublin
Tour / Activity
Location: Dublin, Ireland
My Review: I recommend this tour. The trip was difficult only because the coach lost air-conditioning at the beginning of the trip. It was a really hot day, but the tour itself was wonderful. We even had a short stop that was not on the itinerary at the graves of the people who were killed on the Lusitania. Definitely take this tour!

Northern Ireland including Giant's Causeway Rail Tour from Dublin
Tour / Activity
Location: Dublin, Ireland
My Review: This was my first tour when I arrived in Ireland. It was beautiful. Wear tennis shoes or hiking shoes for this trip. We crossed a rope bridge after a one-kilometer walk. I didn't understand that we were getting off the train during the tour and walking around, so I wore a pair of sandals that was not appropriate for this type of walk. That being said, I enjoyed it. Breathtaking views! Bring your camera and lots of batteries! A great, well-organized tour!

My Review: I spent three days doing this. It's a great way to get around Dublin without spending a fortune on taxis. Stop at the Kilmainham Jail stop first. It's not the first stop, but it will set the context for everything else you see on the tour. Spend at least two days doing this tour.

Dublin Traditional Irish Music Pub Crawl
Tour / Activity
Location: Dublin, Ireland
My Review: There are lots of tour operators in Dublin that do musical pub crawls. This one kind of dragged because the musicians spent more time talking and less time playing, and they didn't really engage the audience much. It should have been called a music-history tour, which would be more accurate. I still had fun and met lots of interesting people.

The Dublin Pass
Tour / Activity
Location: Dublin, Ireland
My Review: This will save you money if you plan to do lots of things listed in the book. I couldn't get to everything, but this made it simple to get into things like the Guinness Brewery tour. I went ahead of everyone in line and walked right through.
