I have been on a couple tours from Zurich. This by far was the best. A long day, but you get to see a lot of different landscapes. The gorge was very beautiful and the walk was nice and refreshing. The Glacier was pretty amazing - you get to walk in the glacier. Definitely wear or bring sneakers or walking shoes for that part - its a little slippery. Our tour guide was Richard - very professional! He made a lot of stops for photos (5 minutes at some great overlooks) - I find most tours don't build that time in. I would recommend this for anyone traveling to Zurich who wants to get a taste of Switzerland in a day.
I would totally SKIP this tour. It was a waste of time. Very speedy - our tour guide was in such a rush (BTW - I am in good shape and in my early 30's).
We first stopped at the Lindt outlet (which was fine - 10 minutes to stock up on cheap chocolate). Then we went to rapperswil - pretty town - wish we had more than 45 minutes there (including lunch time), it was go go go. Then drove to the Heidi house - it costs 7 francs to go inside a 2 room house maybe 500 quare feet - total rip off. The view were nice though. We had a little bit more time here. Then off to Leichtenstein - they drop you off at the "center of town" which is a strip mall with 2 restaurants and 2 souvenior shops. You see nothing here. Only one good view, when we pulled in you could kind of see the castle. Also, our tour guide told a lot of bad jokes, it was fine in the beginning, but it got annoying after awhile.
Save your money - go on a different tour.
