Turned up spot on time, helpful driver, happy days

Excellent service, on time, friendly and helpful

This trip was a bit shambolic. To start with, they arrived at pickup a half hour late. This turned out to be important, because the driver couln't drive for more than 12 hours, given this was a 13 hour trip, this ment we were 1 1/2 hrs short to start with. This became a bigger problem as the trip progressed - we stopped for lunch only an hour after the breakfast stop!!!! the stops were all cut short to make up the shortfall. By the time we got to the highlight of the tour, the 12 apostles stops, we almost had to run off, take a photo and dash back to the bus - we ceratinly didn't have time to enjoy them. The driver was at best disinterested, or even positively grumpy. He may well have done the trip a hundred times before, but we hadn't, and are unlikely to do so again so his obvious disinterest was more than a little disapointing. He drove like a manic, so fast we not only couldn't enjoy the scenery, but many became travel sick with the swaying of the coach. It seems crazy to send only one driver for a 13 hour trip when the driver could only drive for 12, it was obviously a problem from the outset. Otherwise , the scenery was great, when we had the opportunity to admire it. Can't reccomend the trip in these circumstances, but maybe if the driver had been a bit more enthusiastic it could have been much better, but probably a bit ambitious for a single day.
