Overall, we enjoyed our Vatican self-guided tour, and were very happy to be able to take advantage of Skip the Line access. My comment for improvement is that I would like to have been given a map of the Museum in English, along with some pointers. For example, when exiting the Sistine Chapel - exit to the right to get to St Peter's. Not the left as we did and ended up outside, unable to get back in and we did not want to wait over an hour with the general public! The guide was giving instructions on the street prior to going through security, and it was very difficult to hear with all of the traffic and tourists. Otherwise, was worth the ticket price!
An absolutely amazing day! It's worth the long trip from Paris (expect to be gone for at least 12 hours, including travel time) to see all of the gorgeous chateaus. Our guide was awesome - he gave so many interesting tidbits and was very engaging.
The wine tasting was very interesting, with gracious hosts. Chambord and Chenonceau are both fantastic - so much rich history to soak up!
Absolutely amazing tour! I've been to Versailles before, but this was my first private tour. It was great to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Palace - we were one of the first people in the Hall of Mirrors, and we had many rooms to ourselves.
I also liked that they gave us time on our own to explore - the gardens are always a favourite for me.
