The castle was absolutely beautiful in the snow. The tour guide didn't tell us too much. His main role was walking us up to the castle. The price seems a little steep when you consider that you have to pay for the castle admission when you check in. The tour inside the castle is short and the guide is quite robotic. You do not get a lot of time to take pictures. We also would not have had time to go to Mary's Bridge, had it been open. I gave this tour 4 stars mainly because the castle is stunning and worth seeing.
This was the best purchase of my time in Munich. Our tour guide (Achim?) was so knowledgeable about Dachau. The only downside is that you do not have time to stop and read all the different things in the exhibition. However, some of my travel group did purchase a book of the entire exhibit. I felt we were given more than enough info to make up for not reading the exhibition material
