This was a nice way for us, as travelers, to experience little side restaurants that we would not normally have stopped in to. Our tour guide spoke perfect English and was very knowledgable. She also took time to throw in some interesting facts about Japanese history. We stopped in to have Yakitori for our first stop, after that we went and Japanese pancakes which was very good and we were going to stop off for dessert, but by that time we were quite full. :) If you are going to Tokyo, you have to take 1 evening and experience this. Wonderful time!
This cruise was very nice, I think my only advice would be to dress up when you go. Though my son and I were dressed ok, I did feel very underdressed for cruise and the wonderful dinner that was served to us. The food was exceptional! And as a nice suprise, we had transportation waiting for us when our ship came back in. Unfortunately weather was not on our side, it was rainy and foggy so the view was not as nice as it could have been, but everything else was wonderful.
