this was a very fun experience that was a great thing to do in Barcelona that no one would have thought of. i was a little worried about booking through Viator overseas but had no problems with the reservation at all. my husband and i booked to go on a sunset cruise but it was overcast and rainy the day we booked so the wife of the tour company met us to reschedule us for the next day. she was so sweet and nice! we went the next day with 4 other girls and were not quite prepared for the weather that ensued. the morning started off very pretty but the wind picked up and it was strong! i wish the waters and wind was calmer for more of a relaxing and calm sail but the tour company can't be blamed for that. as it was a windy day and no one in the boat had any experience sailing except for the tour guide...the girls (including myselft) seemed a little nervous being out at sea with the boat swaying from one side to the other. since we had never sailed before...i don't think any of us knew what to expect. we ended up going out to sea very fast and coming back quickly into the harbor to practice sailing and learn how to do it ourselves. in retro spect...we should have done that 1st then tried to go out to sea but i don't think the guide realized how strong the winds were and how little we knew of sailing. the last hour we puttered around the bay and were treated to a bottle of suprise cava for my husbands birthday and Barcelona yacht t-shirt which was so sweet of the company to do! our guide was very knowledgeable of the city and sailing. this was definitly an adventure trip if you want to learn 1st hand how to sail. don't sign up for this if you are expecting a stable booz cruise experience. I give 1 star to the weather and 4 stars to the company!
London, United Kingdom
this was a great day trip...not too long. comfortable bus and easy way to see the castle, Stonehendge and Bath...all while sleeping or reading. the day we went was rainy, cold and overcast...that's London though...so Stonehendge was not fun to see. it was so cold and windy...we ran up to take a photo and hopped right back on the bus. Bath was by far my favorite place...such a cute town...I wish we had more time there to explore and shop around. the bus was comfortable, the guide gave little tid bits about each location before we got there and they were very clear about what to expect. make sure you go the bathroom before leaving each place...there is no bathroom on the bus!
London, United Kingdom
this was such a suprsie fun trip for us!!! we LOVED it! and was by far our favorite thing we did in London. we did it the 1st day we arrived and even though it wasn't very sunny out for a sunset (that is London for you...over cast and cloudy)...it didn't matter at all. most of the people on board were so cold..we all stayed below deck (but there were plenty of seats above deck to sight see and take pictures). downstairs they offer drinks and complimentary appetizers (was not expecting that) and some live light jazz music. we loved it and would definitly do it again!
