We had a great day. The dual destinations of Gironna and Figueres was very good. We had plenty of time to wander with our excellent guide, but also time to browse, shop a little and to have lunch in the lovely town of Gironna.
The Dali Museum was fabulous - such fun, and you learn so much about this extraordinary artist. I would recommend this tour highly. Our guide was informed, friendly and did not overload us with detailed facts - he judged our interest level in both art, history and Spanish life in general.
Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable but seemed to be 'going through the motions' as though she had done this tour many times before and perhaps was a bit bored with it. The food locations and the market we visited were excellent. Perhaps a bit expensive for 2 hours.
This was an easy way to access Monet's Garden from Paris, although it is a long drive. The new Impressionist Museum at Giverny also visited was enjoyable. We had enough time to walk through both venues. The hotel pickup and drop-off was a great feature of the arrangements.
