Overall a great night. Food is adequate but who cares when you are at the Moulin Rouge. The show was fun and the atmosphere is great!

Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade

We enjoyed our gondola ride very much. We were nervous about going with a group, but it turned out great. The singer was fabulous, and the crew was excellent. Go for the 8:30 p.m. if you go in May, as it was dusk when we set out and night when we finished, so we were actually able to see a lot.

This trip is great. The bus picked us up at our hotel, and once at the Vatican we only waited on a short line for groups. Our guide spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable. We did not return with the bus; instead we went on to St. Peter's. Overall it was well worth the cost, even if it were just for skipping the general admission line.
