The only issue was the entrance from the Uffizi Gallery to the Vasari Corridor was closed for maintenance. We had to walk further than planned and had less time in the Uffizi as a result. However the tour was fascinating and the guide was passionate and informative. We were a small group and had loads of individual attention. The tour ended with a real Michelangelo highlight and we finished with much greater appreciation of the evolution of arts from the late Gothic to Roccoco and even knew how to tell them apart. As I started the tour without a clue that was quite an achievement. If that sounds like hard work it wasn't it was fun and rewarding.
