The bike portion of the tour was very well organized and quite lovely. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also gave my 11 year old son a little extra attention, which made my son feel good. When we got to the chateau itself, there were absolute mobs of people with huge lines to get into the building. My expectations were that since we were a guided group with pre-issued tickets, we could bypass the lines and enter in the "guided tour" gate. Alas, our guide just handed us our tickets, suggested that we go to the gardens first until the lines got shorter, and then told us how to get back to Paris on our own. when I asked him why we weren't going to the group entry, he said that he had to make a "judgment call" on whether to give us public tickets or group tickets and that he gave us public tickets. He was correct in advising us that the lines got shorter as the afternoon got later, but we did not tour the chateau with him. Quite frankly I don't know if that was what were even supposed to do with him. If you book this tour, make sure you understand the full extent of the tour. If you are looking for a guided tour of the chateau, this might not be the tour.
This is an essential tool for any first time traveller to Paris. It really covers everything. Very much worth the money, especially if you plan on using the Metro.
