London Shared Departure Transfer: Hotel to Airport

London, United Kingdom

My Rating
2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

My Review

I wasn't too happy with this transfer. First of all, it doesn't tell you on the voucher what time the pick-up will be, meaning you have to call them in advance. I was given a time, and was waiting in the lobby of my hotel, only to have the driver arrive 30 minutes later.
Also, because it was on the day of a biking race, the driver kept on getting lost and didn't know where to go. My journey took two hours and I just made my check-in on time.

My Review

Our driver was on time and picked us up from the hotel to take us around the city. He was immensely friendly and knowledgeable. We went to the Citadel at sunset, then headed to view the Roman Amphitheatre from a high point in the city.
We were then taken for a trip through Downtown Amman before heading to a restaurant for dinner. The reason this tour misses a star is because the restaurant's service was a bit of a let-down and the staff were not that friendly or welcoming.

Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman

Amman, Jordan

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

Absolutely amazing! Couldn't recommend this trip enough. If you are planning to visit Petra from Amman in one day, then this is the most convenient way. Our driver (who was amazing) picked us up and headed for Petra. We stopped for breakfast/coffee on the way, then got to Petra where he helped us get tickets and a tour guide (included in the price). He then left us to our own devices for a few hours before we headed back. You'll be exhausted by the end!

Note: Bring money for tipping the tour guide and for drinks (water...etc. is readily available at the entrance). Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat because it gets VERY sunny. On the way in, you are descending therefore walking is easier - the further you go, the harder your ascent back to the entrance will be!
