Seville Night Tour with Tablao Flamenco Show

Seville, Spain

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review

I was the only person on the tour, and it seemed as though the tour guide and driver could not wait to get home. I felt rushed through the city tour. However the flamenco show and tapas dinner were incredible and were well worth the price of the tour alone! Awesome show!

Madrid, Spain

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

This was a great way to see Toledo! We saw six highlights of the city including the Alcazar, Cathedral, St Tome and a beautiful church with an incredible courtyard. Our tour guide spoke very clear Spanish and English and was very knowledgeable. The traditional lunch was also delicious.

Lima City Sightseeing Tour

Lima, Peru

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

This was one of the best tours we have taken in South America because our guide was so knowledgeable. We went to the top of the Dominican Monastery near the main square in Lima for a great view, the stairs to the top were narrow and hard to see because it is dark in the tower but it was totally worth the view.

Galapagos Islands Explorer Package from Santa Cruz Island

Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

My Rating
4 star rating: Recommended

My Review

This was a great way to see the Santa Cruz and North Seymour Islands while staying in Puerto Ayora. Seeing the land tortoises and the Charles Darwin Center the first day started the trip perfectly. The yacht was very nice but had some mechanical issues during our tour of Santa Cruz island. Snorkeling is offered each day but if your not a standard size mask, bring your own with you. We were able to see sharks, sea turtles and plenty of fish in the water in addition to seeing marine and land iguanas, blue-footed boobies and frigate birds on North Seymour Island. The water was cold but manageable for a hour or less without a wetsuit. We stayed at the Red Booby hotel, which was adequate but in a great location. We were given two coupons for local restaurants by Grey Line Ecuador, The Rock and Il Giardino in Puerto Ayora, and tried them both. We did not like The Rock at all but really enjoyed Il Giardino. All of the guides were very knowledgeable and the group tours were given first in Spanish then in English.

Valle Nevado Ski Resort Day Trip with Optional Ski or Snowboard Lesson

Santiago, Chile

My Rating
3 star rating: Worth doing

My Review

We had a perfect skiing day, it had snowed the day before but was beautiful and sunny for us. We were picked up early at 7 am and finally made it onto the slopes at 11:30 am. We needed to be back at the bus by 3:45 pm so we only got 4 hours to ski but didn't get back to our hotel until 7 pm. Not sure if they purchased a half day pass for us but we had to ski consistently to get our money's worth. The rental gear was poor, it was well used and older, however the Valle Nevado mountain was awesome.

Santiago Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

Santiago, Chile

My Review

This was a great way to see Santiago quickly. We felt like we had an understanding of the city and the main sightseeing sites after doing this tour. They hand out ear buds and explain the sites in multiple languages. Highly recommended, especially if your only in the city for a day or two.

3-Day Iguassu Falls Sightseeing Tour

Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

My Rating
5 star rating: Highly Recommended

My Review

Our first tour guide Carlos was awesome, he handled the Argentinean side. Our second tour guide for Brazil, Graciela, was not as good. Her English was hard to understand a times. Regarding the hotel, we stayed at the 4 star Orquideas Palace Hotel, in Puerto Iguazu and while the food was excellent, the hotel has an indoor/outdoor design so there were a lot of bugs, including a huge spider in the shower. The falls were amazing and the tour was well organized. They were even there to pick us up at the right time after our flight from Buenos Aires was delayed 3.5 hours and we didn't have internet access to let them know directly.
