The sites we visited on this tour were amazing however the tour definitely could have been better. First of all it was dual language with German which I wasn't aware of when booking- this mean't that all commentary had to be done twice and everything seemed to take twice as long as it needed to. Secondly when you arrive at the Cathedral square you are given 20 minutes free time to explore including going into the Cathedral- I thought that the tour included a tour inside.
Plus points though is Milan is a beautiful city and the sites you visit are great, and the reservations for the Last Supper are a bonus but if I was doing it again I think I'd get organised and plan it myself as with the dual language commentary I don't feel I got anything out of this trip I couldn't have done myself on public transport.
Essentially 2 tours in one. The walking tour was excellent, we had a guide who was interesting and passionate and I learnt so much as we wondered around the back streets of Venice. In the afternoon after a four hour break we met for the grand canal tour which again was a great experience and we got to see lots of areas of Venice that we hadn't discovered ourselves with an interesting commentary. I'd highly recommend this combination as a great way of seeing all that Venice has to offer.
