My family and I enjoyed this tour. I just wish that we had some personal time to reflect and see some of the camp by ourselves. From start to finish (except the last 5 minutes) of the tour, the group was together. The information was interesting and it was nice to hear it rather than read the many displays around the camp. Still, 20 or 30 minutes "free" time would have been nice to have.
Our tour guide was Jeff. On the train ride from Munich to Salzburg he shared things to look for and experience. He shared plenty of experiences and where/what to eat. We enjoyed the three hour "free time" in the city. The walking tour took us to many of the sites to see in Salzburg. The train ride is about 2 hours each way, so for four of the ten hours of this trip, you're on a train ride getting to/from Salzburg. The countryside is beautiful. My family (myself, wife and teen-aged son) enjoyed the tour and recommend it for a short "orientation" tour of Salzburg. Be aware that we DO walk quite a bit in the city.
It was simply wonderful to skip the incredibly long lines at the Eiffel Tower and gain admission to the second level in a matter of moments. Jess was our tour guide. She was personable and full of interesting stories. As we toured the second level, she shared what we were looking at and what we could see. She gave us information about going to the third (highest) level when the tour was completed. The information was interesting and it was very nice to be able to "skip to the head of the line" and gain admission. This tour is highly recommended.
