Very well done all around. Truly knowledgable guide, who also showed true interest in wine. The three wineries we visited gave very different views of the local region. The first was newer, just 10 years in business, but award winning and using both advanced and very hands on techniques. The ability to do barrel tasting there was great. The second had over 100 years in business, and was the largest producer of the three. Interesting operation, with antique clay pots still in use for much of the production. The third also had history, but changed hands, a fully organic winery that also produced great organic olive oil. Great choice of location for lunch as well. Highly recommended!
