During our cruise we booked 3 excursions and 2 hop on hop off bus passes. All except this one were great values and high quality (nearly spectacular). This Small-Group Gondola Ride was a total waste of money. When you get to the gondola meet up point, nothing tells you what to do. If the person arranging the tour had not seen my viator receipt we would have missed the excursion. The Gondola was poor quality, the Gondolier could not speak English and basically had two seats and two side benches. My wife and I could not sit together. I recommend spending the money and get a private tour with a guide, or a gondolier that sings or musician and do not make the appointment midday. Evening, Evening, Evening. Private, Private, Private
Great value, great driver, great tour guide. I would do away with the end of tour high pressure, Turkish Rug sales portion. The factory tour was incredible but the Turkish are masters of high pressure sales.
After a little orientation this turned out to be a great way to see Athens.
Again after a orientation this turned out to be a Great way to see Malta. I recommend taking the bus going to the Grotto first and then work your way back.
If I could rate this excursion higher I would. Driver/Tour guide Romolo was more than incredible. Could not have asked for more. I had read the reviews about the restaurant that would be recommended and was leery. Turned out to have the greatest view, very good food, friendly staff and a good value for everything we got.
