San Francisco, California
The city tour was well-done for the most part. It would have been nice to do less driving and more walking around the city. I felt like I was stuck in the bus for far too long. For the Bay Cruise, we were simply dropped off in Sausalito. We were dropped off an hour late, and we did not have enough time to enjoy Sausalito or eat at any of the restaurants. We were forced to grab a quick burger and jump on the ferry. The "Bay Cruise" is also quite misleading, as in reality it is merely a ferry from Sausalito to Pier One. In addition, there was no plan from the tour company, whatsoever, to get us from Pier One to Pier Thirty-Three (where the Alcatraz tour left from). Luckily, we were able to jump on a street car, but that was of our own doing. I would imagine that some less resourceful tourists may have became lost or confused at this point. Overall, I felt the tour to be poorly organized and overpriced.
