This is a good and cheap way to get around Madrid while getting some history of the statues and buildings located in Madrid. We did have a little trouble finding the stops. We went in June and the seating on the upper deck can get rather hot when the bus makes stops for traffic or pick ups.
I was extremely disappointed with this tour. In fact, this was a worst tour I have ever taken using Viator. Probably a great deal of it had to do with our tour guide who just lectured to us and made the tour very impersonal. When asked questions, she gave very abrupt and unfriendly type answers.
On this tour, you just walk around Toledo and this would be akin to just sitting on a bus and just viewing the sites. We stopped at a bakery window to view all the delicious pastries that Toledo is noted for, but although the shop was open, we were not allowed time to go in or sample any items. So, why stop there? The tour did manage to find time however to stop at a jewelry making store on the way back to Madrid which in my opinion was a waste of time and a big tourist trap.
Although there are probably many things to see in Toledo, I personally feel like I saw none of them by purchasing a ticket on this tour. Thankfully, it was only a half day excursion and not a complete waste of an entire day. There is no hotel pick up so be prepared to catch this tour at the location where numerous tours are leaving at the same time making it a bit confusing. Truthfully, I wish I had booked a totally different tour or at least had a better tour guide.
